Reintroducing Myself: Truth-Teller. Builder. Future Board Member—and Maybe More.
Truth-telling at the intersection of capital, leadership, and community.
I’m B. Pagels-Minor. Silent period. Loud impact.
If you know me, you know I don’t waste time with fluff.
I’ve always believed in telling the truth—especially when it’s inconvenient.
We don’t need more spin. We need structure, integrity, and strategy.
And we definitely need better leadership.
Here’s what I do:
🏛️ DVRGNT Ventures
As Founder and General Partner, I back early-stage companies in the Great 38™—regions across the U.S. that traditional venture has written off. I invest in capital-efficient founders who are solving real problems and building legacy businesses, not hype cycles.
💸 The Wealth Salons
Through this nonprofit, I work to close the wealth gap by equipping historically underinvested communities with the tools, language, and networks to build lasting financial power. Wealth shouldn’t be a privilege—it should be part of our shared infrastructure.
🎯 B. PM Consulting
I advise startups, nonprofits, and enterprise companies on how to grow strategically without losing their values. From product refinement to people leadership, I bring clarity, accountability, and momentum.
And here’s where I’m going.
I have aspirations to represent my community in public office someday.
Because leadership shouldn't be limited to the boardroom. And policy decisions need more voices that understand how capital, community, and innovation intersect.
I’m also actively preparing for public board director roles.
We desperately need more business leaders who understand governance—not just press cycles. Too many companies today confuse public relations with real value. I believe boards should exist to support businesses that create meaningful products, care about their customers, and contribute to society’s long-term health.
Governance should be a backbone—not a brand.
What I believe:
Capital is one of the most powerful levers for justice—and inequality.
Financial literacy is a form of liberation.
Products should solve real problems, not just pitch decks.
Boards should protect long-term vision, not just short-term optics.
And representation without real resources is just performance.
Let’s build. Let’s invest. Let’s govern.
I’m here for the long game—whether that’s growing companies, shaping smarter capital ecosystems, joining public boards, or representing people who are tired of being overlooked.
If you’re aligned, I want to hear from you.
